Linear Regression recognizes files of type 'TEXT'. That is files which have been created with this application or some application that creates 'TEXT' files. These include TeachText, Microsoft Word text files, MacWrite text files, Cricket graph etc. Kaleidagraph saves its files in its own binary format so unless you specifically tell it to save the data files as TEXT, then LR won't recognize it. Unfortunately Cricket graph saves it's TEXT files with the column headers, so these files can not be correctly read by LR until the headers are stripped. However as most people will be using cutting/pasting from other apps, I haven't bothered implementing a work around.
